Since the rail must be custom-designed and manufactured to fit each household’s staircase precisely, the only component that can truly be reused is the main stair lift unit.
Before installation, we retrieve the unit and refurbish it at our factory to ensure it’s in good working condition. It also comes with a 2-year warranty, just like a new unit.
Please note that sofa stains or paint scratches left by the previous owner are not covered in our factory refurbishment.
Of course, if these cosmetic issues are a concern, you may opt for additional cleaning or replacement services at an extra cost.
Because solid stainless steel rails must be custom-measured and fabricated by engineers, every installation—whether for a new or reused stair lift—uses brand-new rail segments that are cut and bent to fit.
