Teng Cheng Stair Lift Chair Chosen for Taiwan Cooperative Bank in Taichung – A Barrier-Free Solution for Both People and Cargo
We wanted to make it easier for people with limited mobility to go upstairs and handle their tasks—
and just as easy to bring stacks of documents downstairs.
But with limited budget and space, building an elevator wasn’t an option.
So we offered a fast and cost-effective alternative:
the stair lift chair.
Based on the site’s layout and movement flow,
the stair lift chair was designed to park with a 180-degree turn
at the staircase leading to the basement.
This thoughtful placement helps free up space on the first floor,
making the area more open and comfortable to navigate.
The stair lift uses solid stainless steel rails,
allowing the track to stay closer to the handrail and save valuable space.
This thoughtful design ensures that even those who don’t need the lift
can still use the handrail comfortably when climbing the stairs.
At the second-floor landing,
the rail was designed to park with a 90-degree turn—
making it safer and easier for riders to get on and off the stair lift.
Most families who inquire often ask two key questions:
1. How long does it take?
2. How much does it cost?
The answers:
1️⃣ A standard customized installation can be completed within one month—expedited options are also available.
2️⃣ Pricing is based on the total rail length and the number of turns required for your staircase.
