At the ground floor, we designed the rail to turn 90 degrees—
not only to streamline the stairway flow, but also to ensure that family members who still walk the stairs can move freely and safely.

To preserve privacy upstairs, the family had thoughtfully installed a door at the stairway landing.
Wanting to minimize changes to the original layout, we discussed and decided to modify just a portion of the door panel.
This way, when the door is open, the stair lift can pass through smoothly. When closed, the door continues to separate public and private spaces as intended.
