Can a stair lift be installed on a wooden staircase?
This machine is designed with a strong and safe structure, so it can also be installed on wooden stairs.
Will a stairlift cause damage to the structure of the house?
Because a stair lift is installed on the stair treads rather than on the wall, it does not damage the structure of the house. The installation process is quick, simple, and clean. Before leaving, the installation team will clean the area thoroughly, carefully test the stair lift (seat lift), and explain how to operate and use it.
Can a stair lift be used on curved or turning staircases?
Stair lifts are specifically designed for narrow and curved staircases. Regardless of the direction of the turns, they can move smoothly and reach each floor or hallway safely.
Is my staircase suitable for a stair lift?
Stair lifts have virtually no terrain or location limitations. They do not waste indoor space and require no changes to the staircase structure or building layout. Custom installations are available for all types of stair materials in both homes and public spaces. Stair lifts are an ideal solution for situations where limited interior space makes installing an elevator impossible, significantly improving convenience and accessibility within the home.
My staircase is quite narrow. Is it suitable for installing a stair lift?
Stair lifts (also called seat lifts, electric stair chairs, stair electric chairs, or assisted lifts) are custom-made after accurately measuring each staircase. The rail is installed along the side of the staircase handrail, occupying only about 10 cm, running close to the wall or handrail. The seat itself can be folded, making it possible to navigate even narrow staircases or those with steep angles. When folded, the seat leaves plenty of space for other users to safely use the stairs. (Installation is possible on staircases 69 cm wide or more.)
Sales price
If I schedule a measurement appointment with a consulting engineer for a stair lift, am I obligated to make a purchase?
Our stair lift consultation service is completely free, and you are under no obligation to make a purchase. The engineer will assess your individual needs, take accurate measurements, and provide you with a stair lift quote.
Is there a fee for on-site stair lift measurement and quotation?
On-site measurement and quotation are completely free of charge.
How much does a stair lift cost?
The price of each stair lift varies because it needs to be customized based on your staircase type and rail length. We can provide an estimated price range first, and once you schedule an appointment, our specialist will visit your location to take preliminary measurements for an accurate quote. Since we sell directly from the factory, using high-quality materials (stainless steel main unit, seat, and solid stainless steel rails), our prices are reasonable, making it an economical and affordable choice.
Would there be a discount if two stair lifts are installed in the same household?
Subsidy Application
Is it possible to apply for a long-term care assistive device subsidy from the government for a stair lift?
Yes, stair lifts are considered a type of long-term care assistive device. Citizens can apply for government subsidies for stair lifts as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for long-term care assistive devices.
The government subsidy for stair lift equipment requires evaluation through the social affairs bureau or assistive device resource center in each city or county. In Taipei, you can contact the Assistive Device Center for an assessment. Typically, applicants need to have a disability card indicating at least moderate disability to be eligible. In New Taipei City and other counties, you should contact the local social affairs bureau to inquire about available subsidy resources.

Maintenance & Servicing
What should I do if the stair lift main unit cannot move?
- A1: The fuse may have blown (appearing blackened) due to overloading or obstruction. Use the spare fuses provided during installation and replace the blown fuse according to the instructions in the user manual. If there is an obstruction, after replacing the fuse, move the seat in the opposite direction to remove the object.
- A2: The safety stop device may not have released. Gently press the safety stop tabs on both sides of the footrest or check if they have popped open.
- A3: The battery may be dead. Move the seat to the charging position using the remote or button while not seated. If it still cannot operate, use the temporary charging device. If it still does not move normally after charging, the battery needs to be replaced. Signs of battery wear include slower movement even after a full charge. For battery replacement instructions, please refer to the user manual.
Cleaning & Maintenance of Stair Lift Stainless Steel Rails
For dust, simply wipe the stainless steel rails with a damp cloth moistened with water. Do not use any cleaning agents. For black grease stains, use a commercially available degreaser.
